THE ROOKIE — ISAAC
MY SHOWS
Meet Isaac
By day, Isaac is an FAA-certified aircraft mechanic. On the side, he is a volunteer firefighter, EMT, podcast host, sports-card collector and — somehow — radio DJ. Around here he is The Rookie, bringing firefighter culture, rock and an unfiltered personality to the station.
What you'll hear
Tailboard Takeover airs Thursdays from 10 AM–2 PM EST. One minute you may be hearing a structure-fire story, the next a ridiculous firehouse moment, then rock history or a movie challenge. It is four hours of rock, patriotism, firefighter culture and controlled chaos from The Rookie’s point of view.
In three words: Patriotic, Firefighter, Unfiltered
Mood-boost song: Coheed and Cambria — “Welcome Home”
You might be surprised to learn: He is an FAA-certified aircraft mechanic, volunteer firefighter, EMT, podcast host and sports-card collector.
Why Slightly Unhinged Radio? “Nobody is trying to be somebody else. Every DJ has their own personality, their own style, and their own stories.”
Why tune in? Four hours of rock, patriotism, firefighter culture and controlled chaos.
